Where has the time gone?

My darling grandson is 2 in a couple of weeks and I can't believe where the time has gone. It is only like yesterday that I was holding him in my arms as a new born.

Here is the card that I have made him. It was done in CAP2. Leon loves animals and I thought the Brannigan Bear's home digikit would be ideal. I copied the animals and have 3d'd them. Hopefully he will love it.

I've been AWOL

Well I have been absent for a few weeks as things have been a bit hectic. I had my grandson staying for a few days (he is nearly 2) so he took up most of my time. Then hubby and I went away for a few days which was lovely. Other things in the house had to be done. Last week I was looking through the net and came across a Spring Fair that is local to me and decided to book a table to sell my cards. Now I'm in a mad panic to make sure I have enough cards to display!.

Here are some of the men's cards I have made. All using the Forever Friends 'The Goodlife' set.

Crafty Day with Friends

On Friday a few of my friends including Pam, Kim and Jackie met at Greta's for a playday and a good old natter and laugh. We don't normally get too much crafting done as we chat too much :-). This time was no different but we did get to do a little crafting.

This little basket was a project that Kim brought for us all. It's so cute. The basket is made out of a piece of  6x6 paper, the handle from a Martha Stewart punch and the rabbit is made out of various punches. She even brought some mini eggs to fill the basket with.

This is the bracelet that Greta got us to make. It is lovely and so easy to make. This one I made a bit big for me but I sat this afternoon and made another one.

Here is the one I made this afternoon. I will definitely be making more in different colours.

Easy Peasy Card!

Would you believe that I have only ever made one stepper card before and I didn't like it - too many steps and it wouldn't stand up properly. I have been looking at blogs etc and seen some beautiful stepper cards so decided to have another go. I found a tutorial on U Tube with easy measurements and found it was quite simple when you know how. So here is my effort from yesterday. Simple centre step card. I have a Men's set from Kanban that I have had for some time so used a topper and backing sheet from there.

Recipe:
Handmade stepper card blank
Topper and backing card all from Kanban Kit
Buttons from stash
Greeting from Craftwork cards

Addicted to Stamps and More

The challenge over on Addicted to Stamps & more this week is 'Make your mark' where you need to use your pens so I have used my promarkers to colour the bear and balloon. I have made it into a new baby card as I don't have many of these in my box and you never know when someone may ask you for one.

I have followed the sketch over at Sunday Sketch and Stamp.
