Son & Future Daughter in Law's Wedding invites

Well I have eventually finished the invites for my son and future daughter in law. Have to say that although they were monotonous to do, I am really pleased with how they have turned out. They are still on the 'Alice' theme.

More Workshop Cards

My main crafting these last couple of weeks has been finishing off the wedding invites for my son and my future daughter law. They have all been finished now and they have been over today to write them and send them off. I have to say that I am very pleased with the way they have turned out. (watch out for a future post). I am now moving on to start more wedding invites for a friend's daughters wedding. My gift to them.

I have managed to make a couple of birthday cards which I can't show you at the moment as the recipient might see it. :-). I have been to a couple of workshops so have been making cards there.

Today I have a couple of cards that I made at Linda's workshop. The first one is a 3d card that would look lovely as a wedding card. Lots pf die cutting but the end result is worth it.

The second card has a lovely delicate butterfly die cut in the middle. Very intricate but looks lovely. Love the paper we used as well.

Workshop Cards

Last Thursday I did my first workshop since well before Christmas.

The workshop was Clair & Sharni's and this is what we made, a card and a tag using the following :-
Altenew Blooming Bouquet Stamp set,
MFT Stitched Sentiment Stamp and Die set,
Stitched Traditional Tag Stax
Lawn Fawn Simply Sentiments Stamp set.
The stamps were coloured using coloured pens. The card is complete but I may make another card out of the tag.

Then today I went to Debbie's workshop where we used   Stampin Up's Butterfly Gala Stamp & Duet Punch set. These butterflies are lovely. So easy to stamp and colour. The projects we did were lovely, 2 cards and a little box.

More Christmas Projects

Today I am showing you the projects that were created at Linda's last workshop. Some great cards with cute images.

The Santa card I have added a greeting to as I thought it looked a bit plain with none. :-) We were given all the images and backing paper. Linda showed us her samples but we could do what we wanted. I love the dachshund and llama images. The backing papers were lovely.

We had great fun making the bag but we got there in the end.

First Card of 2019

First card of 2019 and it is for my future daughter in law whose birthday is on January 1st

The image comes from the internet and taken into Craft Artist Professional where the writing was added.

I then printed it off and then matted and layered onto black and white backing card.

Christmas Workshop

I do know that Christmas is well and truly over but here are a few things that I made at a workshop I attended in November. The workshop was held by Cas Shears  from Storm Stamping and Deborah Toner from DebsyDaisy Crafts. We made a selection of different projects using Stampin Up products. It was a great day and can't wait til they do their next all day workshop.

I do attend Debs' monthly workshop, the first one being next week.

Stamped image on a candle. Love the way this worked although I did heat the candle a bit too long :-).

Printed little sacks with matching tags.

Brother's Birthday

Would like to wish you all a very happy new year and hope that all your wishes come true.  I am going to try and blog more and stick to it.

Today I have a card that was made for my brother in law. Very simple card but effective. The word brother has been done with flat sticky scrabble letters and the 'happy birthday' had been cut twice to produce the shadow. Then a little bit of bakers twine.
