Feeling Sketchy - Sketch 42

Boy is it cold today so the only thing to do is huddle in my craft room and make a card or 2. Second card of the day.
On a role now, I just love following sketches..can you tell :-). I always have a problem with laying out the card so sketches are great.

This card is following the sketch over at Feeling Sketchy . A nice simple sketch to follow.

Here's the sketch.

Here is my card.

Brain not working!

Looking through some challenge blogs yesterday, came across the Sunday Sketch & Stamp challenge and liked the sketch so made a note of it. Later when I ventured into my craft room I needed a card for my great niece so got all the stuff and thought I'd follow the sketch. As you can see I did follow it and I was really pleased with it!. It was only this morning as I was about to enter it on their blog that I realised my mistake.......... NO STAMPED IMAGE!!.... Oops! Oh well I liked the sketch anyway and still time to do another one with a stamped image this time :-)

Recipe:-
Square card blank
Backing paper, topper and greeting all from some sheets that I got from my mate Greta.
Flower is a paper one that I made some time ago.
Gems from my stash.

Thanks for looking

Naughty Blogger

Well can't believe it's been so long since I have blogged, but then I have had lots going on. I went on holiday at the beginning of November for 4 weeks to Florida. Had a fab time and did lots of nice things including a 3 night cruise on a Disney ship down to the Bahamas. On return from holiday, Christmas was upon us. Not a big fan of Christmas but we were having it at home with my sons and my grandson. We all had a lovely day.

As for cardmaking, my mojo went on holiday with me and has now gone missing. I didn't even make any Christmas cards which I felt very guilty about. I have now, as in yesterday, made my first card so hopefully the mojo is on it's way back (even if reluctantly) so hopefully there will be some of my makes soon.

In the meantime here are some of the handmade cards that I received at Christmas.
