A Christmas Wreath

Ok so after a couple of weeks off I have a Christmas card to show you that was started at a workshop but finished at home. Not very happy with the wreath as it is very lopsided but love the concept of the card.

From a tag to a card

Today's card is one that I made for a long time family friend. I originally made the tag at a workshop along with a matching card. The tag just sat there and I wasn't sure what I would do with it. I decided that as it wasn't getting used I would make it into a card so this what I did.

The tag was quite big so had to use an 8 x 8 card back. Yellow backing card and patterned backing paper. The 'Happy Birthday' is from an unbranded die and the embellishments made from the backing card.

More Old Pictures

Some more old pictures that I have scrapped. First one is of me sitting on my Dad's lap with 2 of my sisters in Weymouth around 1969. don't remember much about this holiday, only that my mum told me that I was lost for an hour or so. :-)

The second picture is of my Mum and Dad. I think it must have been when they forst got together so I would say it's around 1958/59.

Effie's Card

This card is one that I made a few years back at a workshop at Doncaster. I had put it away and forgotten about it. My youngest great niece turned 2 in September and thought it would be ideal for her so I added a number 2 and a little embellishment in the centre of the card.

Non Wedding Day Card

The next next card I have to show is for my bestie's son and partner. They are getting married in October in Spain but had to have a registry wedding here first to make it legal. They classed this as there 'non wedding' and the Spanish one is the 'proper one'!

I decided to make them a 'non wedding' card. The main image was designed in CAP. The glasses have been decoupaged. The backing paper is from a Nitwit Collection called Perfect Pair. Backing card is adorable scorable card. Then added some gems.

Hubby's Grandad

As previous said I am in the process of sorting all my old photographs and then scrapping some of them. This evening I have been doing these. They are of my husbands' grandfather who sadly passed away back in 2001. Hubby spent a lot of time with him when he was growing up. After his Nan died we used to take Grandad away to the Isle of Wight and Devon. Charlie, our dog used to come too.
