Unfinished projects - part one

Ok so this year I set myself a task to finish all my unfinished projects ( I have 3 basket loads of unfinished stuff!) - some may only need an insert, envelope or just have my personal stamp on the back but I want to get them all finished!

Most of my unfinished projects are from workshops or crafty days. Here are the first lot. I do have more but I won't bombard you all at once :-). These will all be going into my stash box for future birthdays etc.

My Grandson is 3

They say time flies and the last 3 years certainly have. My youngest grandson, Ollie turned 3 on 19th. He is growing into a lovely little boy with a great personality and can melt my heart with one look at that face.

He loves Paw Patrol so the card I made him had to have his hero Chase, on it. Just a simple card but it says it all.

The picture below is of Ollie after opening a Paw Patrol book from Great Grandma.

Mother's Day Box Frames

I got a rare opportunity of a few hours in my craft room this weekend and decided to make the most of it. I have a lot of ideas going around in my head and here is one of them.

A few years ago I made a box frame similar to this for my Mother In Law's birthday and thought that they would look nice in other colours and as it is coming up to Mother's day I did these 4. All exactly the same but just using different coloured gems, buttons, sequins etc. They are 6" x 6" square wooden frames.

They are on sale in my Etsy shop for £10 each plus postage here

Son's Birthday card

This is my son's birthday card made for Hunkydory kit. He is a fishing fan so this decoupage kit was ideal for him.

The topper is decoupaged although I didn't use all the layers but it still came out well. I used an olive green backing card with some bakers twine and added a button.

Pam's Card

Well what an awful wet windy day it has been today. We are still over on the Island and we have been out and about today but got rather wet and windy. Last day today so a bit sad.

The card I have to show you today is the one that I made for one of my besties Pam. I have used a Katy Sue design from their Grey scale Collection 'Say it With Flowers'. I used curved rectangles to cut the image out, inked the edge with red ink and added some red ribbon and some gems. The backing card is from my stash.

Some more Workshop Cards

At the moment hubby and I are on The Isle of Wight for a quick holiday. No crafting as such but am catching up with my year book for 2018.

I do have a card and box to show you that I made in workshop a couple of weeks ago. These were done in Clair & Sharni's workshop using Sue Wilson dies, When I saw what we were doing I didn't think I would like it but I am really pleased with the way they have turned out. The flowers are rolled and I am pleased with the way they have turned ut as I normally have real trouble with them.

The little box was made using WRMK punch board.
