New Cards I Made

Here are a couple of cards that I made back in April.

The first is one I made for my nephew who was 21 in April. It is a square card with some paper from Craftwork Cards paper pads. I punched the edges with a friskers edge punch, stuck it onto the card. Sizzix punched letters and numbers in gold card and a gold peel off of a car.

The second card was for my hubby's birthday. I came home from holiday on hos birthday so we celebrated the day after. I left him his card to open on his birthday though. His card has a Papernation decoupaged golfer on. This was stuck onto a large tag that I chalked. Then used a couple of golfing peel offs.

More catching up!!

June 11th - My oldest friend Maria got married today to Paul. She met Paul a few years ago on the internet. He comes from Ireland. They had a long distant relationship which was difficult for them at times, but Paul moved over 18 months ago and today they got married.
They were wed in a beautiful place called Barnsgate Manor Vineyard. The wedding was perfect she looked beautiful as you can see from the pictures.
Ethan and Harri are are her two boys. They both did readings at the ceremony which brought a tear to my eye. The wedding breakfast was absolutely georgeous with so much food. We were stuffed! :-) They then had a barbeque in the evening.
The wholeday was lovely and just right, just what she deserved.
Here is a picture of the card I made for them. It is on a pearlescent white card, embossed with the cuttlebug swiss dots folder (my favourite one). A pre made topper. silver peel off and piece of organza ribbon to finish it off.

Disney Does Brighton

June 6th - One of the girl's at work is getting married on 20th June and on the 6th we all went out for her hen night. It had a disney/kids character theme and we all had to dress up. We had Snow White, Little Red Riding Hood, Dorothy, Cruella D'Ville, Captain Hook, a couple of Minnie Mouses and me I went as the wicked Witch.

We had the boogie bus which was fun and stopped us at 4 different night spots around town. There was plenty of drinking, plenty of dancing and plenty of laughter going on. It was a great night.

The Girls Hit Florida!!

April 30th - Florida here we come.... Gary & Fel (Cyd's hubby) always go down to Devon for a week playing golf. Cyd & I normally have a week in the sun, i.e Tenerife or Spain. This year we decided to go to Cyd's house ion Florida for 2 weeks of sun & relaxation. My mate Hevs deceided she wanted to come along as well as it's her 50th birthday this year.

We had a fab time and all we did was soak up the sun, do a bit of shopping and relax. As this was Hev's first time in Florida we asked her where she would like to go and she said SeaWorld which was fine by us. So on the last but one day we trotted off to SeaWorld and had a great day.

Later that day I experienced my first full blown Floridian thunderstorm. Wow it was amazing, fork lightening the lot......the only problem was that we were sitting in a metal stadium on metal seats surrounded by water (we were in the Shamu Stadium)!!

It was a great 2 weeks , got my tan & made me feel 100% better. Roll on October when we are over there again.. however this time it's with the boys!!!!!!!!

Oh dear, I have been neglecting...........

............my blog. Wow I didn't realise it had been that long since I had last posting. I have a lot to catch up, so much has happened over the last month or so so I will gradually bring it up to date, and then hopefully keep it up to date.

Firstly - 17th June - I spent the day with my mate Pam. We spent the morning up at the Craft Barn doing a bit of craft shopping. We then had a spot of lunch which was very nice. For the afternoon we drove to the Glitterpot for a craft lesson with Jane Gill. The class was to learn how to do gold leafing. I loved the card that we madebut I must say, gold leafing is not for me. :
