September cards -

Over the next few days I will be showing you my cards for September.

The first one is a card I made for my nephew who loves dachshunds. The image is from Hunkydory's It's a Dog's Life. The Nephew was cut from a die cut. The greeting is from Hunkydory's greeting pads

Hubby's Grandad

As previous said I am in the process of sorting all my old photographs and then scrapping some of them. This evening I have been doing these. They are of my husbands' grandfather who sadly passed away back in 2001. Hubby spent a lot of time with him when he was growing up. After his Nan died we used to take Grandad away to the Isle of Wight and Devon. Charlie, our dog used to come too.

Multi Media Project

Something different from me. This is a Saturday Special Craft day that I attended at C&S Get Crafty. It was a multimedia project. Something I haven't done much of but I really enjoyed doing it.

We started off with a small square coaster and bits and pieces of 'junk'. We had to arrange the stuff on the coaster in a design that we wanted to in layers.  This was the picture of my design.

This was it stuck and painted.

Then framed .

August Birthdays

Can you believe that it is September already? 3/4 of the year gone already.. soon be Christmas. Now the school holidays are over and my grandkids are back at school I can concentrate on my crafting again.

In the meantime here are the cards that I have made for August. Have quite a few of those. I am still trying to use up my stash so most of these were made from Hunkydory kits.

This card is  8" x 8" using Hunkydory Gentleman's Journey - Bon Voyage.

Another 8" x 8" card using Hunkydory Thoughtful Moments - ' A very special friend'

This card is a 5" x 7" card using Hunkydory's Little book of Magnificent Men, The grey backing card has been embossed using a Darice embossing folder.

This is a 7" x 7" card made using Hunkydory Magnificent Men - Tech Wizz. The Happy Birthday has been die cut using silver card.

This is a 5" x 7" card using an image from Hunkydory's Little book of Gentleman's Journey.

This 5" x 7" card was made using an image from Little Book of Manly Moments. The background has been embossed using a woodgrain effect embossing folder and I have decoupaged some of the bottles.

This 7" x 7" card was made using Hunkydory's Manly Moments kit. Can't remember the name of the kit.

Last card is a DL card made using Gentleman's Journey - He shoots, He scores.

July Birthday's

As I am not very good with blogging I thought I would start to show you things I made on a monthly basis. So today I am showing you my July makes.

This is a card that I made for my great niece. It was from Craftsuprint. The unicorns are all decoupaged and as you can see there is a matching insert with it. Lots of fussy cutting on this but I loved it. The card is  8" x 8"

This card is a decoupaged topper from Wellington Bear collection I love this bear. Added some bakers twine and a button.

This card was made at a workshop I went to a few months ago. The word is printed out onto the backing paper and then highlighted with flat backed beads. Time consuming but worth it in the end.

Old Photos

So at the moment - among other things, I am sorting out all my old photos. They are all in the days when you had to get them developed so I have an awful lot that are awful. So I am sorting them out to give to my sons so they have memories of their childhood. The ones that I am keeping I am going to try and do some layouts with them.

I am having such a laugh at looking at how many hairstyles I have had. :-)

Here are the first few that I have done.
