A Condolence Card

At the beginning of the month, a very good friend off mine lost her husband to dementia and cancer. Although I hadn't seen them in a few years I was very saddened by his passing. I was a bridesmaid at their wedding nearly 30 years ago.

His 'Celebration of Life' - not funeral - is happening tomorrow.

Here is the card that I made her. Never an easy card to make. This one was made via Craft Artist Professional.

Couple more cards made at The Papeterie Craft Retreat.

2nd post today and I have 2 more cards to show you that I made at The Papeterie Craft Retreat.

The first one was made with Graphic 45 Botanical papers. We were give the paper and told to make cards as we wanted. It was 'our ' project.  I have seen these papers before but never dreamed of cutting them up to add to cards but I really enjoyed it and they did made stunning cards.

This card was designed by Jean Ingram again and was made using the Tim Holtz mixed media dies and Sue Wilson dies.

Friend's Birthday Card

The card I have to show you today is another one that I made at the Craft retreat at The Papeterie in April. The card was designed by Jean Ingram. The workshop was embossing folders and the dies are Sue Wilson.

Doing this workshop gave me lots of ideas as to using my embossing folders more.

Anniversary Cards

I have just got back from a couple of days away with my grandsons. We took them to Thomasland up in Drayton Manor near Tamworth. It was the 4th year with Leon but this was Ollie's first year. Great time was had by all but it was so hot and very knackering.

The cards that I have to show you today are 2 anniversary cards very similar but different. They were made using Tim Holtz Thinlets heart dies and an unbranded Happy Anniversary die. I love these dies and love the effect they create. I got the inspiration from Jean Ingram from Papeterie Crafts Retreat.

Decorated Note Book

This has got to be one of my favourite projects done up at the Craft Retreat in Aberdeen.

For this project we used Oyster Contour card, black card, vintage photo embossing powder, a spiral bound notebook, distress inks, Tim Holtz pocket watch die, Tim Holtz Gadget Gears #2 and Sue Wilson Industrial Chic- Mixed Essential dies.

Really liked how this has turned out.

Some more Men's Cards

Continuing with using up some of my stash, today I have some more male cards to show you.

These ones were all made using Hunkydory Kit - Magnificent Men - 'They Think It's All Over'.

The following cards are also Hunkydory from the kit Hobbies and Pastimes - 'Around the Block and How's That'. The first 2 cards are decoupaged and the last 2 made from the backing card.
