Son's Card

Here is the card that I made for my son earlier this month. I entered it into this month's Inspirational card for the forum that I am in Crafters Reunited. The recipe was any card for any occasion but it had to include a square, a rectangle, a circle and a button.

Recipe:
White square card blank - (the square)
Car topper comes from a Kanban kit (rectangle)
Greeting comes from Craftwork cards (the circle)
Buttons from my stash (the buttons :-) )
Backing paper came from the same Kanban kit
Black card from my stash.

Feeling Sketchy : Sketch 48

I was sitting here today going through my photos trying to find a decent one of Leon and me. I found this one taken when we went to Drusillas a little zoo park near us. We go there quite often as Leon loves riding on Thomas the Tank Engine.
I decided to use this in a scrapbook layout which I did in Craft Artist2. I have followed the sketch from the latest Feeling Sketchy challenge although I have changed the oval to a square!

Here is the sketch

Daisy & Dandelion decoupage image
Purple card from Colourbox 12 x 12 card pack
Ribbon is sticky ribbon from Anitas

Opps I did it again!!

Every few days I go through the blogs I am following and note down any challenges that I fancy having a go at....mainly sketches.. Well on Monday I was trolling through them and cam across a challenge on Sunday Sketch & Stamp blog - I made a quick drawing of the sketch but forgot to note which blog it came from. So today I thought I would do a card and made the following for my friend whose 1st wedding anniversary is coming up. I followed the sketch and then came on to try & find where  had got the sketch from... Unfortunately it was from one of the only challenges I follow that need a stamped image and mine isn't!! 2nd time I have done this.. Never mind, it's another card made.

Recipe:-
White square card blank
Backing card from Colourbox 12 x 12 pad I got on the States
Backing paper from my stash
Image and tiny heart paper from Fuzzy Moon with Love set - celebrations
Gems from pack
Greeting stamped direct onto backing paper using Stampin Up in - Lavender Lace
Large Classic Scalloped Circle
Corner punch

Mother's Day

Today I am feeling a lot better but I still have my cough which is most annoying. This afternoon I was up in my craft room trying to sort it out and came across a couple of packs of decoupage kits and I decided to make a couple of cards using them. (Not much sorting got done after I had found them!). The first card is a mothers Day card for my mother in law. I have used Forever Friends Pink Parfait. All elements of the card are from the kit apart from the greeting.
Will be entering this into the Forever Friend Challenge - Anything Goes.
Recipe:
White DL card blank

My card for today

I had high hopes this afternoon when I entered my craft room. Thought a bit of card making would make me feel a bit better which it did a little but seems my mojo was only staying around for one card and here it is. No challenge this time. The card will be used for one of the many birthdays I have in March. Was quite pleased because the decoupage flowers were from my stash of made up flower toppers I have had made up for ages. As of last year am still trying to work through my stash.

Recipe:
Square card blank
Decoupage topper from stash (not sure where originally came from as had for years!)
LOTV Greeting stamp
Pale green chalk ( timted the greeting )
Backing paper from Best of K & Company Too paper pad
Pink card from stash
Gems and ribbon both from stash also
Small classic circle and scalloped circle nesties.
3d foam
Tape runner and silicon glue to stick bow on.

Leon

Still feeling a bit pants today so couldn't be bothered to go up in my craft room but I wanted to take part in the new Feeling Sketchy Challenge this week. It is a really simple sketch and instead of doing a card i decided to do a scrapbook page layout. We had Leon to stay over the weekend and managed to get some lovely pictures of him. I used Craft Artist Professional for the layout.

Here's the sketch.
