A Jolly Day in Fareham

On Sunday a group of us -me, Pam, Kim, Greta, Trace & Debs all went down to Fareham to do a jewellery class and this is the item that we made. It's a netted tube bracelet. I really enjoyed making it and will definitely be making another one, maybe a necklace..

The day ended with a good meal at a local Harvester where a good time was had by all.

Calendar For Mother in Law

My mother in law lives in France so she doesn't get to see my Grandson (her great grandson ) very much and while she was over here a few weeks ago I took a picture of her and Leon. Using Craft Artist Professional I have created a layout using the photo. I really enjoy CAP and each time I use it I find I can do new things.
I created the sheet and then printed it out. I then stuck it to 2 pieces of card to make it sturdy (printed it direct onto card originally but didn't like it!). Put 2 holes in the top and threaded some ribbon through to hang   it. I then added a calendar pad and voila!!
Hope she likes it!

Haven't had the time to blog!!

Just haven't had the time over the last couple of weeks to blog or make cards so I haven't anything of mine to show you. I did celebrate a birthday last week on 2nd and did received some lovely handmade cards and have decided to show you them.

The first one is from my mate Jackie. She hasn't been crafting over the last 6 months due to personal reason but has just started again and I have been privileged to have one of her first cards since she started up again. Go have a look at her blog, her colouring is amazing.

This card is from Kim (better known as Kimbo). Beautiful card as are all hers. Cute image.
Go have a look at her blog here.

This card is from my mate Pam. Have known Pam for years . Honoured to have received a handmade card from her as she doesn't make very many. Beautiful card though. Pam's blog is here but she hasn't blogged in a few months, but you never know she may start again.

I am hoping that I will get back into my craft room soon, what with birthdays', anniversaries', grandsons', illness's (my hubby not me) that have stopped me, I need to start on some Christmas cards. Watch this space!!

Busy Couple Of Weeks

Haven't made any cards over the last week or so cause I went away for a week down to the New Forest. Lovely part of the world and so relaxing. We definitely picked the right week though. While we were down there, hubby surprised me with a day trip to the Isle of Wight from Lymington. Had a great day. On the return ferry, we were 1 of 6 cars only on the ferry. I have been going to the Island regularly since I was 7 and have never seen the ferry that quiet! I did do a bit of crafting whilst away (couldn't go all week without) I took some decoupage to do and have made some Christmas toppers which hopefully will be made into cards!!

The return car ferry.

On Monday this week we were due to pick up our new car. We had a Kia Sportage 2.6 which was very juicy and as I use the car more than hubby, it was very expensive so we decided on a smaller car and opted for a Ford C-Max 1.6. Have to get used to the gears again as Byf - that was the Kia (yes I am one of those people that name their cars!! Byf was part of the registration plate. ) was an automatic

Here is the Black Panther :-)

As I haven't posted any pictures of my little grandson recently here are a few from yesterday. I can't believe how quickly he is growing.

No Card Today.

I have no card today as I have had a really busy weekend. I was up early on Saturday morning to do a car boot. I have been meaning to do one for ages but what with the weather, had't got round to it. I made £47 which wasn't bad bearing in mind I only had junk :-). Mind you some people still wanted things for nothing!!

In the afternoon we went and pick Leon up (our grandson) as he was staying with us overnight. As it was a lovely day we took him to the park. Here are a couple of pictures I took. The first tow were from yesterday the third one was today.

He was very good and went down to bed at 6.45pm and slept through until 3am when he decided he wanted a cuddle with Nanny! Although he wasn't making a noise he finally fell asleep on me at 4.15am. He then woke up at 6.45am which was good for him. We do so love having him and the place is very quiet when he has gone home.

Here is a last picture of him having his bedtime bottle of milk sitting on his new chair!
