Tuesday's Monthly Workshop has started

Tuesday card workshop started last week and here are the 6 cards that we made. I have to say that I loved all the cards this month, so much that I wanted to order all the stamp sets :-) but I didn't!! Although I did order the plane stamps as they are so versatile.

All the cards are little notelet size which I think is a great size to work with. All products used are Stampin Up, although I have added a few gems to the cards from my stash.

Saltdean Craft Workshop has restarted.

Well haven't started off very well with my blogging this year so far, I have so much I want to do craft wise but I just don't seem to have the time. I will make the time though!. Thank goodness for my craft workshops I attend. At least I know I'll make a card/cards there :-)

Talking of which my Saltdean Workshop with Clair  started up again last week, and it was great to be back there.  We are in a new venue and have a bit longer time for the class as we are known to chat a bit!

Here is the first card that we made. A lovely one to start the year off with. Used Stampin Up and MFT stamps and punches.

Weigh In Day

Well I hold my head in shame because I have put on 1/2lb. I thought I had been good this week but when I look back I know that I haven't. I am now going to make a concerted effort to do better this week. I will be going back to the gym and doingmore exercise.

I have decided that I need to change my slimming class as my original consultant has left and can't seem gel with the new one that has taken over so I am changing days and classes.

Hopefully I will have better news next week.

Initial Weigh in

Just a quick post to let you all know I have had my initial weigh n following Christmas and me demolishing every piece of food in the house and having a lovely cream tea this afternoon (sandwiches, scones and cakes mmmmmmmm) I only put on 3lb over the two weeks of Christmas. I do weigh at least 1/2 stone more than  did this time last year (mainly due to my holiday and Christmas) but it could be a whole lot worse!!

Will keep you updated on how I do!!

Happy New Year 2016

Let me first wish you all a very happy New year and I hope you get everything that you wish for. 2016 is going to be an exciting year for me. I have a new grandson due in February (although he did scare us last Wednesday in deciding that he may like to come out 8 weeks early!! but they managed to persuade him to stay where he was for a while longer!! :-) and my husband, after 39 years if finally retiring at the end of March so we have lots pf exciting plans.. 2016 also marks my 50th birthday so I will be doing something exciting for that! Not sure what yet though!!

My only resolution the this year (apart from living life to the full and enjoying every bit of it) is to achieve my target weight. Those of you that know me are aware that I have been on a weight loss journey which started back in 2011. I have lost jut under 4.5 stone since then. Although very slowly I have managed to keep it off. I have put a bit on over Christmas (who hasn't??) but I am determined that by my birthday in October I will be at my target weight. I will keep you all informed of my progress.:-)

Of course I will be making some cards over the year!!

My cards today are the last ones I made for Christmas. They were all made using CAP and different kits.
