Lion King & London

Had a fab couple of days last week. Went to London on Thursday to see the Lion King. Had booked it via Deal was book a hotel room and get the theatre tickets free (the tickets were for the grand circle - lowest priced tickets). Too good a bargain to miss so booked 2 rooms (the other room was for our friends as part of their Christmas pressie). The hotel was in Paddington (Best Western Paddington Court). very nice hotel, rooms were lovely, had everything you wanted although we did have trouble with the lights... but we got it sorted.. eventually!
We jumped on the tube and went to the theatre. The tickets that we got were actually in the Royal Circle and excellent.
The show was fabulous - for those of you that haven't seen it, it is very emotional at the beginning. Cyd, my friend, cried!
On Friday we decided to go siteseeing and we wanted to go to Harrods. We decided to walk there which was fine except we walked the wrong way for about 10mins :-), this was down to Gaz reading the map We got there eventually. I love Harrods.
When we got back I checked up to see what the ordinary price of the Royal Circle tickets were and they range from £55 - £66. We got the hotel and the tickets for £56 each!! A definite bargain!

Thanks for reading
