Rain Rain Rain

Look at this, 2 days running :-). Today is 'Leon' day. It has been non stop raining all day but we still went off to Drusillas and went on Thomas and played in the soft play area. He is non stop talking now. I can't believe he will be 3 this year.

My card today - yes I do have another one :-) - is for my oldest son. (Leon's dad).  As I have been trying to sort my craft room out I am coming across stuff that I had forgotten I had. This is from a male kit I got from Kanban. I had made some cards from it last year but forgot I still had it. Used the topper and the strip from the kit. Matted it onto green card and then added a greeting from Craftwork Cards. Simples!

My first challenge this year

Well, not been very good with my blogging this year have I? Oh well can only get better.

This card is for my grandson's mum. I have designed it all in CAP using the Bingham Bears digi kit. I printed out the design and layered it onto some pale blue card from my stash and then added some gems. I have also followed the sketch for this weeks challenge on Sketch Saturday

Another card

Good evening all. Today has been a relaxing day after yesterday. I was looking after my grandson and he is quite a handful now. :-) So today I have been chilling. Well apart from washing, ironing, making 3 cards, listing some stuff on facebook that I want to sell and making dinner!!

The card I have today is for my great niece. The backgrounds, name, greeting and embellishments were all done in CAP using the Party Paws All Occasions digikit. This was printed off and then stuck onto a card blank. I then added a Tatty Ted 3d topper to finish it off.

My first card of the year

Weather today has been wet - oh what a surprise. I am so fed up now with the rain..I need sunshine!!!!

That's enough moaning...I have finally started on my cards for this year. :-).

This card was made using CAP and a new kit that I bought called Secrets. It's a beautiful kit.
All elements to the card were done in CAP. All I have added are the gems.

Leon at Christmas

Well today the weather has been a lot better - no rain. I gave my ankle an outing to day and walked down to the post office. It ached a bit but I do have it strapped up well.

Have spent the day clearing some more stuff from my craft room and loaded some stuff to be sold.

Still haven't made a card yet but here is a scrapbook page that I have made from Christmas day and my grandson. Not any pictures of him looking as he has to be in the mood to pose for a picture lol.  My hubby is a police inspector and a couple of his officers called to see us Christmas day and Leon got to sit in the Police car as well as on it!! One for his memory book though.

Happy New Year to you all

Firstly I would like to wish you all a very happy new year and hope that you all had a great Christmas. I know that it has been a long tome since I last blogged but I was away for a month in November, then Christmas and then I have been ill since Christmas with a bad cold and cough. Then last week I went to the theatre and in a restaurant prior to the theatre I decided to fall down a step and twisted my ankle quite badly (and I hadn't even had a drink!!)

I have made one card this year - an engagement card for a friends son and his girlfriend who got engaged on New year's eve - but I forgot to take a picture (naughty Cally!!), so I don't have any card of my own to show you but I did receive some lovely hand-crafted cards for Christmas so I have put these on to show you.

I am in the process of having a good sort out in my craft room at the moment and getting rid of alot of stuff that I no longer /or have never used. I do have a couple of cards to make for January birthday's so I hope to be able to show you these when they have been done.
